Dani Berger and Liz Chirac have new charter guests aboard the yacht Vengeance. Blaine and Mindy Wilkes booked the charter to make an adventure travel video for their TV series. Upon arrival, they confess to be paparazzi in pursuit of a movie star named Kev Strong, as well.
Discovering that Dani has an entrée to Strong, the guests encourage her to see him. Spurred on by Liz, Dani agrees. She meets him for lunch to provide a photo opportunity for her guests. Strong, smitten by Dani, offers to make her a star. He invites her to join him aboard his Russian investor's megayacht to audition for a part.
Dani is unmoved by the entreaties of Strong and their guests but her suspicion about the investor's agenda prompts her to accept the invitation.

Have you ever read a novel where one character asks a question then eight pages later after being bored to tears with impertinent information about the room lighting, the weather and someone's facial expression the other book character gives a one sentence answer? If you dislike this style of writing as much as I, then you should love any and all of the books written by CLR Dougherty. I have read every book Bud has written and have never skipped a single page. The man doesn't waste your time with words that are there simply to add pages to book. Bud, I'm a lifelong fan. I impatiently wait for the next installment.How much do I like this man's writting? I read between 75 and 150 books a year. This is the first review I have left on Amazon. Most books I have read in the last two years have been pretty good. All of Buds books have been exceptional! Thank you Bud.

All of this series has been very good reading. You can probably guess I've enjoyed all of them, since I've read all the way through 11 of them. )
Good entertainment. I recommend you try them.
Dani and Liz are at it again .... beating the hell out of bad guys. While it is an interesting story line, it took a while to get to the point, and then everything happens in a rush. The drone came and went mighty fast.
The series is getting rather obvious -- lots of same-old, same-old. But it's still enjoyable.
I love the characters. The flow of the book is fast, so be forewarned that it's hard to put down. Dani and Liz are at it again with adventure, mystery, and fun.
I have really enjoyed every Bluewater thriller. I love the caribbean, thrillers and strong women characters. Mr. Dougherty has a way of bringing the caribbean and sailing to life. I feel like I also know so much more about the caribbean way of living. I have gone through the series really fast as I didn't want to spare a moment between the stories. I can highly recommend!
Another great book in the "Bluewater" series. I read the book over two nights, nicely paced and the characters feel like real people to me.
There is some violence and sexual content, more implied (other than Dani's fight scenes) than explicit.
Would like to see more of the usual cast of characters (Philip, Sharktooth) who seem to make cameo appearances here.
As always, a great read.

Another engaging story from the masterful pen of CLR Dougherty. This is the 11th installment of the Bluewater Thrillers, and believe me, there is no indication of the drama, the excitement, the tension, the adventure slowing down! In the beginning, Dani shows an odd side in trying to become more "Flirty", but the climax of the book shows her to be as tough and brutal as ever. It was also good to see the return of a secondary character, Marie Delacroix, who is Dani's alter ego when need be.
